iState Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 November 2026

These terms govern your use of iState at app.istate.life. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

iState offers short guided self-reflection sessions ("journeys") of about 15 minutes with Mira, an AI mentor. The current version is an early demo: features may change, be limited or stop working, and data may be reset with notice.

The service is operated by iSpace Intelligence Solution (United Arab Emirates, IFZA licence), contact: office@istate.life.

2. Not medical care and not an emergency service

iState is a tool for self-exploration. It is not psychotherapy, counselling, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace a qualified professional.

iState is not an emergency service. If you are in danger, thinking about harming yourself or others, or in crisis, stop using iState and contact your local emergency number or a person you trust immediately.

Mira is an AI. Its replies are generated automatically, can be inaccurate or inappropriate, and do not reflect the views of a human professional. You decide what to do with them.

3. Who can use iState

You must be at least 18 years old. You must give accurate information when creating your account and keep access to your email secure, because sign-in works through email links.

Do not use iState while driving, operating machinery or in any situation that requires your full attention.

4. Journeys and your gift journey

Each new account receives one journey as a gift. In this demo version, additional journeys cannot be purchased. We may grant additional journeys at our discretion (for example, to testers).

A journey uses your answers before and after the session (state, energy, words, your goal) and your messages to Mira. You can stop a journey at any time with the Stop button. A journey also ends automatically when its time limit is reached or when the app detects that it should stop for safety reasons.

5. Round Table

Round Table participants are AI characters written in the spirit of the ideas of historical figures. They are not those people and do not express their views. You must not use the Round Table to deliberately request or develop topics that are prohibited on iState, including by rephrasing a declined question. If you do, we may limit or suspend your access to the Round Table.

6. Acceptable use

Do not:

use iState for anyone under 18 or on behalf of another person without their consent;
try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass the limits and safety features of the service;
try to make Mira produce harmful, illegal or abusive content;
use the service to collect data about others or for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

7. Content and intellectual property

Your answers and messages remain yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and changes

We provide the demo "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We may change or stop features, and we may update these terms; significant changes will be announced in the app or by email.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on Mira's replies. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using iState and request deletion of your account at any time by writing to office@istate.life.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
